Vanessa Bare, APN, first began her nursing career as an LPN. She loved caring for people and wanted to do more, so she began her educational journey. She earned her associates from Northeast State Community College. From there she earned her BSN from The University of Tennessee Knoxville. After receiving her RN, she began working at Holston Valley Medical Center where she worked on the cardiac unit including the Cardiovascular ICU. She continued her career at Johnson City Medical Center where she worked in trauma and the ICU while earning her master’s degree from King University.

She loves spending time with her family where they enjoy taking vacations, hiking, attending college football games and finding any reason to have family functions.
