RICHARD BOWIE, MD

Dr. Bowie is originally from Bristol, Tennessee, and is a 1972 graduate of the Medical College of Virginia-Richmond. He completed residency training in general surgery at Tuft University's St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton, Massachusetts, and New York Medical College. Dr. Bowie also completed a residency in urology at Harvard University's Peter Bent Bringham Hospital. He is Board Certified and Fellow in the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.). Dr. Bowie has been in practice since 1976, and joined Medical Care in 2001 where he performs surgical procedures both in the office and in the hospital.
