Jimmie Ryals came to Medical Care in March 2004 with 20 years of active duty nursing experience in the U.S. Air Force. A registered nurse since 1977, he went on to complete his Master of Science in Nursing degree, and became licensed as a family nurse practitioner in 1997. While in the military, Jimmie worked in the emergency department, became the Health Promotion Coordinator for a large base-wide wellness program, completed a three year tour as a flight nurse, and held several supervisory positions. As a family nurse practitioner, he has been a primary care manager for a family medical clinic, chief of a chiropractic clinic, and chief of a mass casualty contingency patient care team. Jimmie is married and has five children.
